2026 Men's Tilly's Cup
2026 Men's Tilly's Cup For newer members and longstanding members alike, this event is one of our members' favorite formats combined with the introductions and networking amongst our membership. The Tilly's Cup is a match play bracket set via blind draw at the beginning of the season (this year Matches begin April 1st). Matches are coordinated between players and played on your own schedules. You will have an entire calendar month to complete each match. Matches are played with handicaps, stroking off the low player, using 100% of your handicap at the time of play. We will attempt to give priority booking (when possible) for players looking to complete their Tilly's Cup matches. The 2026 Tilly's Cup is a SINGLE elimination event. We will promote and gather all signups and then publish the 2026 Tilly's Cup Bracket the week of April1st. Once there is a bracket there will be a published length of time, each calendar month, for you to get your match completed. I cannot tell you how many times I hear of people making friends or meeting someone new at the Club, it is simply the best feature of this event. Eligibility: Any male primary member or spouse with an established handicap, 18 years old or older. Fees: $30 entry, one time fee to be in the bracket. Billed on day of bracket release. Date & Time: On your own schedules. Bracket will be shared with contact information for players to reach out. Format: Match Play, USGA rules apply. Matches ending in ties will go to #1 and continue on until someone wins, sudden death. 100% of your course handicaps stroking off the low player. Tees: Players may choose which tees they play from, course handicaps will factor into tees played. Once players choose tees for the event they cannot change based on match playing, weather conditions, etc... Tee times: It is players' responsibility to secure tee times for matches. Cart or any other traditional fees would apply for rounds played. Match Play Timing: Management has been too lenient on extensions of the timeline in years past. 2026 will not allow timeline extensions until the round of 16, period. If looking for extension, future date MUST already be decided within reasonable amount of time. We are all busy and it can feel difficult to settle on a date of play...the golf shop will not let a situation where people have not played slow the entire bracket's progress. We apologize in advance for forcing a coin flip if matches not completed for any reason. PLEASE DO NOT DELAY BOOKING MATCHES TO AVOID THIS SITUATION. Winnings: Credit book paid to winners. LGA TROPHY Day
LGA Play Day | 9:00 a.m. Shotgun Trophy Day is a GBLGA tournament which runs March-November each year. It is individual no cost play. Each month there are 1st low gross, 1st low net and 2nd low net winners. The finals are held in November, where each of the three monthly winners from March-October are eligible to participate. There will be a 1st low gross and 1st low net winner in the November final. All monthly place winners and November finals winners will receive cash payouts at the end of year GBLGA luncheon. This is a great way to challenge yourself a bit more than usual, play golf in an ‘in house’ competition, improve your golf skills and make new friends. Sign up on the Invited App or with the pro-shop by noon on the Sunday prior to the Trophy Day. Pairings done by the Pro Shop. A minimum of 4 players must play a Trophy Day for there to be declared winners. Scores will be posted by the Pro Shop as ‘C’ Competition. Players can play regular Tuesday play on Trophy Days, just put in the notes section on the app when you sign up “not playing in Trophy Day”.

This program is for Junior Golfers that play in local or national golf tournaments. It is for ages 8 to 15 years old. We will work on skills to continue to lower scores. This is a monthly program the dates for March will be Tuesday 3, 10, 17 (4:30-5:30) and an on the course play day Tuesday the 24th (4:30pm start)

LGA Pay Day Game | 9:00 a.m. Shotgun 2 person match play (Like Sierra Gold) | 2 Person Team Best net ball of the twosome against the best net ball of the other twosome in your group. 1 pt for winning hole, 0 points for losing hole, ½ point each team for tie. The twosome with the most points wins the match.
